Owner and Veterinarian

Thomas G. Fansher, DVM

Dr. Fansher is the owner of Pine Ridge Pet Clinic and our “sister” clinic Deltona Animal Medical Center. He was born in Asheville, North Carolina and was raised on a dairy farm in the low country of South Carolina. He graduated from the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981 and has been practicing in Deltona since 1983. He joined the American Academy of Veterinary Dermatology in 1990. As he puts it, he still enjoys the pets, the people and the profession after over 30 years.

When Dr. Fansher is not at one of the clinics, he can be found enjoying one of his many hobbies; restoring and driving one of his British sport cars, maintaining the pasture for the horses or just working around the house and garden. He has been blessed with three children and two grandchildren. He and his wife Janet share their home with Lottie, the Pointer Mix, Russert the cat, and Belle the horse.
